THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a part-time talented and passionate part-time Graphic Designer to join our client’s growing marketing team! We need a creative individual with strong visual design skills and a keen eye for detail to help us bring our brand to life.
As the Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with the marketing team to create consistently on-brand and compelling assets with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project and marketing campaign.
This is a 3 month-long freelancing trial contract that can be done remotely at home with a computer capable of the grueling demands of image post production software and a fast and reliable internet connection. Access and license to specific image design tools will be provided by the client.

QUALIFICATIONS
- College Graduate, Bachelor’s Degree of any 4-year course (Fine Arts and Design a plus).
- At least 2 or more years of proven graphic design experience demonstrated through a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus.
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A strong understanding of design principles and typography.
- Experience designing for both print and digital media.
- Experience working for the Restaurant or Food industry is a plus.
- Willing to work graveyard shifts and willing to have shift schedules changed
- Has own fast computer or laptop capable of running required applications and software and has a fast Internet connection (at least 50 to 100mbps).
- Has a quiet and distraction free work environment at home.
- Willing to take a pre-employment test and willing to have a background check.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create visually engaging graphics: Design eye-catching and effective advertisements for both in-store displays and digital platforms (social media, website, email marketing).
- Develop marketing materials: Produce a variety of marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, posters, presentations, and other promotional materials as needed.
- Menu Design: Craft visually appealing and easy-to-navigate menus for our client’s restaurants/
- Video Editing: Assist with minor video editing tasks, such as creating simple promotional videos or adding graphics to existing footage.
- Collaborate with the marketing team: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and achieve marketing objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on design trends: Maintain knowledge of current design trends and best practices.
WORK HOURS
- Work from home. part-time freelance, contractual position.
- 20 to 25 hours a week
- Schedule: FLEXI-TIME US HOURS. TBD once hired.
- USA Holidays off and unpaid.
- Any overtime needs to be pre-approved by the client.
COMPENSATION
- USD $9.00 to $11.00 per hour based on experience.
- Converted, the initial offer is Approximately from Php 50,000 to Php 60,000 monthly gross per month on part-time work (4-6 hours per day).
- The monthly “take home” pay may vary accordingly due to Forex rates.
- Note that we will only consider candidates who are amenable to the compensation budget above.

- Compensation will be paid by the hour in USD
- Deposited to freelancer’s Payoneer account in USD.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Although you will be reporting directly to the designated manager from our client, you will also be reporting to and will be supervised by Big Ideas Social Media Inc, who is the consultant and service provider (Agency) of the US business.
- Big Ideas will be the one to provide your compensation and other HR and administrative needs locally.
- You will be classified as “Self-Employed” when it concerns legality and taxation.
- You will not be considered an employee of our Client or Big Ideas Philippines but instead, you will be a self-employed freelance professional.
- Big Ideas (the agency) will deduct a 5% Expanded Withholding Tax as per PH and BIR laws. (10% if you do not have a COR, Certificate of Registration as Self-Employed from the BIR)
- Contract is subject to an “evaluation period” and subject to contract renewal based on performance of the freelancer.
- Renewal or raise in compensation is subject to client discretion (and your performance) and is not guaranteed.
