THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a full-time Technical Systems Administrator for our client, a fast-growing beauty brand based in the USA. 

This role will manage our client’s various business systems including Shopify, Salesforce, Brandwise/MarketTime and NetSuite as well as upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and reporting. The role also entails troubleshooting and providing technical support to employees and external business partners, creating and managing system permissions and user accounts and assisting in financial processes to make sure orders ship.

This is a 3-month freelance contract (with the possibility of renewal) that can be done remotely at home with a computer capable of running all systems software efficiently and a fast and reliable internet connection.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • College graduate of Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3-4 (or more) years of proven experience as a professional ICT technical systems administrator or related experience.
  • Proficiency and experience with Salesforce, Shopify and Google Suite.
  • Experience with NetSuite a big plus
  • Proficiency in BrandWise/MarketTime not necessary. Aptitude to learn this platform is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Very strong English skills. Phone communication is a must.
  • Ability to work in US EST hours preferred
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers and co-workers.  
  • Strong follow up skills.  Ability to track tasks across an extended period of time to ensure resolution.
  • Strong mathematical skills and an understanding of basic principles of sales and accounting
  • Excellent time management and detail orientation skills
  • Ability to ask for assistance when needed

SCOPE OF WORK (JOB DESCRIPTION)

  • Manages product files for Shopify & Brandwise/MarketTime. (data and images).
  • Assists marketing efforts by creating Shopify offer codes, landing pages and updating images.
  • Troubleshoots Shopify issues while researching Shopify process change opportunities.
  • Helps us build our new Sales Force platform, troubleshoot issues.  
  • Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested. 
  • Manage new customer paperwork and information uploads/update sin vendor portals.
  • Support sales, marketing and operations team members as needed.
  • Assist sales and finance team in customer collections outreach. 
  • Provide regular updates and reports as needed by Management.
  • Other technical and administrative duties as assigned and related to the above.

WORK HOURS

  • Work from home. Full-time freelancer, contractual position
  • Shift Schedule of 9AM to 6PM (EST US) Mondays to Fridays
  • Converted to Manila, Philippines time, that will be 9PM to 6AM the next day
  • 8 hours guaranteed shift per day
  • 1 hour daily break
  • US Holidays are off and unpaid
  • Any overtime needs to be pre-approved by the client

COMPENSATION

  • USD $9.00 to $11.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Converted to PHP, that will be approximately Php 82,000 to Php 100,000 per month on a 160-hour monthly service (subject to Forex conversion rates)
  • Monthly pay out
  • Deposited to freelancer’s Payoneer account in USD.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Although you will be reporting directly to the designated manager from our client, you will also be reporting to and will be supervised by Big Ideas Social Media Inc, who is the consultant and service provider of the US business.
  • Big Ideas will be the one to provide your compensation and other HR and administrative needs locally.
  • You will be classified as “Self-Employed” when it concerns legality and taxation.
  • You won’t be an employee of our Client or Big Ideas Philippines.
  • Big Ideas (the agency) will deduct a 5% Expanded Withholding Tax as per PH and BIR laws. (10% if you do not have a COR as Self-Employed from the BIR).
  • Contract is subject to an “evaluation period” and subject to contract renewal based on performance of the freelancer.
  • Renewal or raise in compensation is subject to client discretion and is not guaranteed.
